Weight loss blogger Andie Mitchel becomes an inspiration with her draw dropping weight and lifestyle transformation.

Andie Mitchel is a 32-year-old weight loss and food blogger. After weighing nearly 300 pounds (136kg) Andie decided that enough was enough, that she had to start changing her lifestyle.

In 2005 Andie began her weight loss journey and over the course of 13 months she lost a whopping 61kgs.

In her posts Andie speaks about her transformation, not only losing the weight, but how she had to change her entire mindset and relationship with her body as well as with food.

Through Andie’s blogs she is able to connect with people who are in similar situations to what she was/is in. Here is a list of her most popular blog posts:

You can see from just the headlines of these blogs that her journey is real. She doesn’t make out that losing weight is easy. This is what makes her so relatable and how she is able to inspire others because what she speaks about it real, things that everybody thinks when they need/want to loose weight.

Andie talks a lot about food and the temptations of food everywhere we go, in fact she has an entire blog post titled How to Keep Saying No When Food Is Everywhere. Through telling her story how it is, Andie is able to inspire others along on their health journeys and this is unique in that it appeals to not only those whom are overweight but also  to those who desire to stay fit and healthy.

Andie has authored 2 books, her first It Was Me All Along: a memoir, which covers her 20 year battle with her weight and of course how she was able to become the person she is today. The book was voted New York Times Best Seller, which demonstrates the effect her story has on people and the at it is motivation it gives people to face their own battles with weight.

Andie’s second book is a cookbook Eating in the Middle: A Mostly Wholesome Cookbook which is full of all the recipes she used throughout her journey and those that she uses today.

Andie shares her tips and tricks throughout her blog posts, and continues to do this while also sharing her love of food. Andie is all about a balanced lifestyle and uses her own experiences to inspire others.

Andie has a huge following on her Instagram account with close to 50k followers where she shares images of food to inspire people to eat healthy. Her images show followers that you don’t have to eat 1 lettuce leaf to lose weight and keep it off.

It is evident that Andie has touched the lives of many and for a range of different reasons. She has inspired so many people to live healthy lifestyles or to change their lifestyle just like she has.
